Important Information for Türkiye Visa Applicants


   1. Appointment Scheduling

   • All applicants wishing to apply for a Türkiye visa must schedule an appointment online through the official website.
   • Visa applications will be accepted only with a prior appointment. Walk-in customers may be accommodated subject to availability.


   2. Visa Fee Payment

   • The visa fee must be paid in cash or by card at the Visa Application Centre during the time of application submission.


   3. Advance Application & Appointment Demand

   • Applicants can apply for a Türkiye visa up to 60 days in advance from their travel date at both the Dubai and Abu Dhabi Visa Application Centres.
   • Appointments are in high demand. Applicants are advised to book their appointments well in advance of their intended travel date to avoid any inconvenience.


   4. Individual Appointments

   • Each applicant must schedule a separate appointment and submit an individual application.
      For example: A family of 5 members must book 5 separate appointments.


   5. Location Based on UAE Residence Visa

  • Applicants holding residence visas from:
    • Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Umm Al-Quwain, or Fujairah must apply at the Dubai Visa Application Centre.
    • Abu Dhabi or Al Ain must apply at the Abu Dhabi Visa Application Centre.


  6. Appointment Types & Extra Charges

  • Prime Time Appointments will incur an additional fee of AED 200.
  • Premium Service Appointments will incur an additional fee of AED 463.
  • Other appointment types, such as Platinum Lounge, may also have additional charges.
  • If a payment attempt is unsuccessful, a new appointment can only be scheduled after 1 hour.

  7. Rescheduling Policy

  • Applicants are allowed to reschedule an appointment twice, provided the change is made at least 2 working days prior to the scheduled date.
  • Any additional changes beyond the two reschedules or past the time limit will be treated as a new appointment, and a new service charge will apply.

   8. Cancellation & Non-Refundable Service Charges Policy (Detailed Explanation)

Please note that service charges are non-refundable under the following circumstances:

a. Missed Appointment:

  • If you do not attend your appointment at the scheduled date and time, your appointment is considered missed. The service charge will not be refunded, as resources have already been allocated for your visit.
  • If you select the incorrect Visa Application Centre.

b. Late Arrival:

  • If you arrive late and the Visa Application Centre is unable to accommodate you on the same day and time, it will be treated as a missed appointment. Again, the service charge will be non-refundable.

c. Incomplete Application:

  • If your application is incomplete or does not meet the official submission guidelines, and the Centre is unable to accept it, the service fee will not be refunded. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure all required documents and forms are properly prepared.

d. Late Cancellation:

  • You may cancel your appointment only up to 2 days before the scheduled date. If you attempt to cancel after this period, the service charge will not be refunded.

e. Partial Use of Services:

  • If you have used only part of the services, for example, document checking but not submission or biometrics, the entire service charge is still non-refundable.

These conditions ensure fairness and operational efficiency, especially given the high demand for appointments and limited availability. Resources like staffing, system scheduling, and facility readiness are assigned upon booking, even if the appointment is not attended or the application is not completed.

 

9. Visa Processing Times

  • All processing times are estimated and may vary. They are subject to the procedures and timelines of the Embassy or Consulate, which are beyond our control.
  • Delays in processing do not qualify for a refund of the service charge.

 

10. Refund Eligibility

  • If the applicant fails to meet the refund eligibility criteria, Gateway International reserves the right to decline any refund request at its sole discretion.
